Despite the weather the launch of Sports Physio UK in Bury was a huge success. The team were able to celebrate the launch of our new clinic with like minded business owners, friends, and family.
For anyone who hasn’t seen that we have opened a new clinic in Bury, our new clinic is situated conveniently just outside of Bury centre. It is located in Pilot Mill, which is already becoming widely known for its innovative thinking and business growth. With ample parking and easy access, this was a no brainer when looking at possible locations for our Bury clinic. We also have the bonus of shower and changing facilities, something we rarely see at other physiotherapy clinics. We are very excited to be able to use our skills and expertise in helping the population of Bury and surrounding areas and know that we will make a difference to many people’s lives.
The evening went off with a bang when guest speakers Paul Clarke and Rick Livesey both delivered very interesting speeches. Paul Clarke from UK Business Mentoring is the director a forward-thinking company with old style values. For more information about Paul and his company click here.
Paul discussed the importance of health and wellbeing in the workplace and how its becoming increasingly important that employers meet the needs of their employees both physically and psychologically.
Rick Livesey (Pain Specialist & Physiotherapist) has been helping people for over ten years. His wealth of knowledge and kind caring nature has contributed to Sports Physio Uk’ s fantastic reputation and successful word of mouth model. Rick captivated the audience when he described how both physical and psychosocial factors influence health. He is widely known for his integrated approach to treatment taking both physical and psychological factors into account. He has lectured at universities and has led many teaching sessions, so if your looking to see a physio with a difference, ricks your man.
Lucy Livesey (director of Sports Physio UK in Bury) hosted the event and introduced our team mascot the blue running man who kindly came down to cut the ribbon. He even wore his best bow tie just for the event and did a fantastic job in cutting the ribbon and declaring the clinic as officially open.
Crowds gathered to admire our fantastic new facilities and other facilities that are situated on our floor. These facilities include EPIC health, who offer knowledge and an unparalleled 1-to-1 fitness and lifestyle coaching experience for all ages and abilities. We just want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who made the event despite the weather and we would like to thank all those who made Sports Physio UK possible. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to help our patients and our patients are always at the centre of everything we do.
